LOOK what I found in my pocket a couple of days ago. [More:]It's apparently from 1919, and I think I got it in change from the Mexican restaurant where I had dinner with my mom.
Holy Smokes, BP. THat is quite a find.

I think I can see some numbers on the original version, but just some outlines.

That's all you can really see in real life, p&c... the outlines of some very smooth numbers. They must have been raised higher than the edge of the coin.

Neat find. A long time ago, I got a silver certificate dollar bill as a change. Never seen one before, or since.

i got one of these in my change months ago as well. Makes me wonder what I've missed when I don't look at my change.

It makes me wonder what it's seen, where it's been.

How cool! I've only found one silver dime in my life; lotsa $1, $5's and $20's.

When I worked as a manager in a restaurant, I used to come across a lot o interesting money. The best thing I found was a 1898 (I think) Indian Head penny. Good shape too. I can't tell you the exact date anymore because I lost it. Smart, huh?
