Something for the heavy souls in mecha land. →[More:] Lots of bummed out mecha'ers today, and I am chatting with an old friend who has had an almost crippling back injury.

Then, Watch the Sunrise by Big Star started playing, and I felt lighter on everyone's behalf. Thought I'd share.

Why is everyone so down? I'm not. Aside from sniffles that I'm battling with some Airborne, I'm in a good mood and having a good day, so far.

But seriously, I am doing alright, just a little bored and under-challenged. Not the end of my world at all. Others seem a little more bummed out.

I haven't read the rest of the downness because, uh, I just got up.

I am happy to add, though, that I will have another migraine by the end of the day, so I don't have to feel left out of all of the woe and such.

Reporting in that working from home with my pooches close by has helped my mood immensely even though I'm still working on a glorified shittilism project. Plus, the sun is out. And I started the day with those insanely cute guinea pigs fromessexjan.
