1. Are you sure you have typed the correct user/password?
2. Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
3. Are you sure that the database server is running?

Btw, dodgy, "YES" isn't a very secure password, y'know?

That's just a standard MySQL error message indicating that the user who is trying to log in has supplied a password. As in... "is he using a password?" "YES, he is!"
