You've never seen Red Dragon (can't say I fault you).

I got the name from the book version. It's not really ever necessary to pronounce it, as in real life, everyone calls me N@.

man, this is unclear.
Does "everybody takes me down a peg" mean that each person takes you down a, uh, smidgeon, which somehow miraculously adds up to a peg? Or do we each get a peg of our own?
Are you normally this opaque? I usually don't get pissed off here, but this really gets me.
Fucking sort it out soon, please. I'd like to help you.
