Bunny! OMG! i apologize in advance[More:]
in the interest of expediency over breathtaking realism (and the fact i think i've inhaled several different "powdered glitter agents" (all legal but possibly giving me a sugar buzz), i humbly submit these bad photos for your hoppy new smear.

the sorry facts will probably be more interesting that the pics and are as follows:

and now the unnecessary details as i have finally dispatched any time sensitive tasks and can settle down for a fag and a cuppa:

Now the camera not only needs to be plugged in to work, but someone has bent up the input so it needs to be in the right mood to stay on. Add to that that i had to put it on the lowest resolution and use an oven hood light to light it, all the intended sparkliness was for naught.

The hill is make of butter pecan cake covered in butter cream, sodded with a mix of green jagged far-too-delicate glittery sugar of my creation, with cocoa for the dirt. (And for all that it doesn't even show up. poop.) The pink was achieved by pulverizing a new year peppermint pig and the little people blew off his side and belly when i yelled "fuckabee" trying to get a decent shot. The eyes are tiny tiny white peppermint and the bunny itself is chocolate with a hint of coffee ganache so it will ooze.

the ironic punchline is that as i was adding the ganache, i figured out how to make exact edible hillside lounging bunnies by molding this dark chocolate enriched oatmeal brownie stuff i made a few days ago (tasty AND good for you) and then covering them in the peppermint pink.

it is, in reality, both very glittery and magically delicious, and since i can't seem to convey this without more time and better means, i offer anyone wanting custom edible bunnies to email me with the details. i probably have enough for at least ten. (they seem to hold up very well without extreme storage needs)
otherwise i may make several other funny bunnies and try to take better photos, before people eat them, some time in the near future.

i hope this makes up for my lack of good quonsakkah photos, the postponed mechat song and anywhere else i may have been remiss to bunnies who give a fluff.

aww, thanks
but it could have been so much better but it was a total whim, and the bunnies like their immediate gratification.

i really wish you guys could taste it and see the glitteriness.

I believe this image will haunt scientists of the paranormal for decades in the same manner as crop circles. The New Era is upon us, look to the skies!

oh, and you can all thank the iconomack mommy for inspiring me to take the first lame capricious stab at glittery chocolatey treats.

now if i gave a bunny fart about "tradition", i'd be in the middle of mob ugliness, off hermiting in meditation or [deleted]

i'm going for none of the above, but for that immediate hoppity gratification that is so loved, i'll let the you all decide what i do next.
except no more fiddling with dessert items. i think i inhaled enough sugar and chocolate for this year in the last two hours just from cleaning off my hands.
but i'll adorn the chocolate pie and cheesecake tomorrow as best i can if things work out.

no one else is gonna appreciate the bunny cake, though.

maybe i'll have a dessert open house except i'll be tempted to pie someone in the face.

You're all obligated to give me the munchies or give me a dessert repository location to spread the sugar coma. and give me the munchies.

and shane, as much as i loved your catmass card, how dare you call me popular

as we have a nice collection of chatterites i genuine like and am glad to be with, i expect you to all to bring on the funny and fun with me and keep my spirits buoyed

or i will have my textual revenge
heh.

I am so very, very happy!

i'm happily surprised this makes people so happy.
i showed santa (my neighbor) the cake and he dug it.
and he got me high.
let's hear it for santa.

i've just made myself a cocktail (think hardcore mimosa, aka april fresh)

i bet if i blew my nose right now, it would look like confetti, or like i chopped up speed pills from the 80s, but i when i feel like being sugared and chocolate fingered again, i'll make pink bunnies doing things in an aardman way and we can raffle them off or something.

metachat edible diaorama!

now where's my funny?

A rabbi, a priest and a minister encounter a giant pink hillside bunny while on holiday in Italy. The rabbi turns to the other two and remarks,

"I don't know if a pries or a miniser can truly understand the majesty and significance of such a sight."

The other two look puzzled, then ask "Why are you pronouncing our titles like that? What happened to your 'T's?"

"Tease?" says the rabbi, "Why I'm perfectly serious."

"No, no," says the priest, "I'm not a 'pries', I'm a 'priest' and he's a 'minister' - not a 'miniser'. We just want you to put the 'T's back in our names!"

"Well, if you insist!" said the rabbit, and hopped back down the hill.

thanks, all, but i swear, i can do better on pink bunnies.

remember, there is still pie.
(i'm thinking of trying to get a print out of the bunny on a hillside so i can give children a thrill before they devour it.
that suddenly sounds very suddenly, last summer)

Sorry to be late; this is so, so great. I wish we could have a video cooking-show version of the making of the bunny, with a cheerful voice-over going "and now we will pulverize the PIG!" The (potential) ooze is the most marvelous touch. Happy new year!
