AskMecha: How do I add my google feedreader to my google customized homepage?[More:]

I have my google homepage where I can add custom content. I also have my google.com/reader customized reader. Both show my personalized google login at the top right. But I can't figure out how to add my google reader to my google homepage. I click on "add content" in the top left of the customized homepage, but I don't see any option to add my feedreader to my homepage. What's up with that?
none of that is yours. it's all google's.

I don't think that Google Reader has its own feed, which is what Google Home would need to add it.

These similar-but-incompatible applications are a disappointing trend at Google.
