30 October 2005

it is raining! [More:]
And there is an 80 percent chance tomorrow! Sorry trick-or-treaters, but damn has it been dry. Of course I remember from my days of going door-to-door that it almost ALWAYS rains on Halloween. Here anyway.

Anyone have an mp3 of that one song that talks about Jean Luc Picard of the Federation? I think it might be The Replacements, but I am not certain. I haven't heard it in ages and I thought I had it on CD, but I give up on finding it so either it isn't The Replacements, I do not have it on CD, or something. Hi.

No reason at all:

Working for the Weekend

Stand my Ground (did someone here post this? I have no idea where I got it, but I listened earlier and I like it)

Woke up with Wood (I'm listening to Afterburner as I type this, great CD... don't ask why I posted one of the lesser tracks from the thing, I have no idea myself)

beautiful autumn afternoon here, golden leaves with the occasional burst of red, sunny, crisp, expected to reach the high 60's. i'll think about you, weretable. and snicker. :-)

Weretable, it's a song called Banditos by The Refreshments. I think maybe jonmc has it handy.

is it raining cats and dogs, or bunnies and elephants?

Dammit, my mind is going. I found the CD now that I looked for Refreshments instead of Replacements. Gah.

Do you still want it? Because I have it.

Here!

Thanks, saves me the trouble of ripping it.

This was bad enough (at least the names are similar even if the bands are nothing alike) but the other day someone asked me who a song was by and I told them it was REM. The song was Lemon.

It isn't like I should know if a song is by U2 or not, I only have every one of their albums, most of their singles up to about 2001, and at least fifty bootlegs. Christ almighty. I need to start eating lots of ginko biloba or something.
