Ask Mecha (potentially dumb WinXP question) For the first time ever (well, in 2 years), my Dell bluescreened for no apparent reason. [More:]I rebooted and clicked to send the report to the M'soft Online Crash Analysis, and despite my cable connection, it said I need a connection to th' interweb to send. How can I try to send that stupid error report again?
I wouldn't worry about it. It's somewhat akin to mailing back the grains of sand that got stuck to your beach towel.

All kidding aside, the data is only used in a very aggregate form. It doesn't really send enough data to be useful for a non-recurring error like the one you experienced.

If it becomes a consistant problem, then it might be useful to someone at Microsoft, assuming someone actually parses that data.
