I dreamed last night that DaShiv bought us all tickets to a Dodgers game, and mudpuppie, gaspode, Fris, and I were especially invited (because DaShiv loves us Metachat geek girls).→[More:]I was really disappointed when I woke up and realized it wasn't true...now I want to go to a Dodgers game with all of you.
oh, this is even weirder because I usually can't read anything in my dreams, but the tickets I got in the mail were clear as day. That's why I was convinced it wasn't a dream.
I too would be there immediately. How much fun to hang with you peeps, even in muddgirl's dream! Now we just have to wait for DaShiv to front up with the tix...
Dodgers? The Dodgers are awful this year; anybody up for a run to the Anaheim part of Los Angeles for some Angelball?
That's why I love Dodgers games so much. $6 tickets in the outfield bleachers. Close enough to heckle the left fielder. Getting to ask "who the hell is that guy" every time they announce the line-up.
It's the same reason I love Clippers games - I got to see the Kings play, 8 rows back from the court, for less than 60 bucks.
I just this afternoon had a strange (nice!) Mecha/Christmas dream...I was dancing (kind of ballet style) and spinning and sort of flying in part of it, and in another part I was making plans to meet up with a bunch of you to see... no... participate in, a parade/street festival, and we were talking about ideas on where to go afterward, and what to eat.
