Ugh. Lost my mail accounts on OS X Tiger →[More:]So I had a prob with OS X. I backed up my user and all apps to another drive. I reinstalled OS X. I then copied back the user files and such...

When I open Mail.app I see all my mail and mailboxes, however I don't see any of my accounts and their settings. Where are those stored so I don't have to hunt down server info and all that jazz for umpteen accounts?

~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist (where "~" is your home directory.).

Arrgh. Okay, it appears the backup program i was using wasn't working properly when I copied back. When I copied manually, all works. Thanks, Armitage!
