Staples.com displays lots of great accessories for it, but won't ship to Canada. Staples.ca doesn't even display any ARC products. Which makes me wonder how it is that they were selling them in store here in Toronto. Maybe I'll shoot them an email.

Does anyone have a planner of this kind, that they can use from year to year and refill, that they want to recommend?

I just use a succession of Moleskine Volant notebooks. They come in different colors, so they look intriguing all lined up on a shelf.

Ebay doesn't carry ARC refills. Nor does Amazon. Amazon does carry the special hole punch for it, but it's rather pricey.

I've emailed Staples about this matter. Hopefully they'll tell me that there are stores in Toronto that carry the ARC product line, or that Staples Canada is going to start carrying ARC products in the near future.

If not, I may just have to take you up on your offer, cjorgensen. I'd have the items shipped to your address and just ask you to reship them to me, and of course reimburse you for the expense. These, er, return "favours" that you speak of would have to be determined explicitly in advance, for the sake of my own peace of mind.;-)

Still may just take the journal back, though. I love it, but if Staples isn't going to give me reasonable options for buying refills for it, they can't expect me to buy the journal.

Eh, I wouldn't have you send them here, then resend them to you. I'd just buy them myself and send them on. I'd be happy with an exchange of goods similarly priced or something. I like surprises. The other week I sent a stuffed animal to a woman in the Netherlands for her daughter (Amazon wouldn't ship it there). The mom sent me a picture of the kid with the animal and I got to make some Dutch kid obviously happy. Even if I don't get anything back I'm fine, but we were promised something fun or equal value.

I dig trades. So if you are a crafter or illustrator or whatever I'm sure we could figure something out. Money is boring, but we can do that too.

My email is in my profile.
