            <description>A lot of those similarities are unfair.  E.g. the fight scenes are expected to be similar in many respects, the white rabbit was a reference, not an appropriation.  Furthermore, certain tropes are standard for a form, e.g. having time travel or aliens.  This is not to say that The Matrix is wholly original, but they undercut their argument by taking too many trivial examples.

(And once you are hip to the "this post sucks" attitude, you don't have to take it personally.  To keep to the theme of this thread, I take such comments as remix material.)

            <description>Everything Is A Remix isn't about "Look they stole it" their motto is more 'Everything you like is built on the backs of other cool stuff and isn't that neat". I don't really see any of it as appropriation aside from directly making Ghost In The Shell references at the end. 

It's more a visual listing of tropes side by side, which I like. </description>
