Very nice, Dan! And really nice recordings! What on earth were you recording on? How long ago were these made?

I can't play that well anymore. It's sorta bittersweet to listen to.

Yeah, that's a horrible feeling. But listening to this, I bet you could get back in shape to play this stuff before too long if you were on fire to...the composition's awesome but it doesn't sound hand-bone-breaking, know what i mean?

Um, thanks Miko. A friend (who, ironically is a working musician in Kona now, and for whom I am going to have a house concert in June) recorded the tracks reel to reel to play during his wedding reception. I made a cassette shortly thereafter, and a kid at one of the high schools who is a whiz made the CD for me, this week, as a favor. I have Sonar but don't know how to use it very well, as of yet.

Another irony. . .I have had a Guild F-40 for years, but it does not record well. (The 12-string was a Martin D-12-20 which I had to sell 10 years ago during economic stress.) So I borrowed my brother's new mail-order Martin D-18. So, fast foward this last Thanksgiving. I am down in California, and the same D-18 is sitting around unused. So my brother lets my daughter have it on a more or less permanent loan. So that guitar on the tracks is in my house right now, and my daughter loves it.

Anyway, I'll dribble you the other tracks as I get them ready. Gladly.

So, the music is playing on Winamp and after every 4 minutes and thirty eight seconds it's playing back, and I don't even notice it after a half an hour has passed. Beautiful music man. Sorta reminds me of Nancy Wilson (I think, for the score she composed for Jerry Maguire; sorry if you're not a big fan of that picture, but the soundtrack was awesome).

Going to download the second track right now... thanks a lot for the work:)
