1. I'm on a computer at the library on limited time.

2. I'm here because my computer died. It (the puter) is in pieces on the floor... No, not on the floor here at the library. You're silly. It's at home.

I wish I'd've thought to say Goodbye to it while it was still alive and all bright-eyed with the 'Net beaming out from its monitor. Now it's like a corpse on an operating table. And I'm a lousy surgeon. Dr. Frankenstein. Happy Hallowe'en.

3. My new computer arrives (hopefully) Friday. See you soon.

1. I'm wanting to leave the office for a bit to make a call to a hot boy, but I can't because my boss keeps calling to ask me about progress being made on various tasks. All of them are things I'm doing for her personal life, I might add. How rude! Doesn't she know I want to go make some personal calls on office time?

2. First day of no carb/no sugar diet. So far, no sweat, but I'm worried about what happens when I get home and there's no soothing glass of red wine to be had.

3. Moonlighting. Client meeting tonight after work. Kitchen remodel, boo-yah!

1. I got a lot of packages at the office today- stuff from my Mom, lip gloss from Mark, a skirt from Express. Yaaaaay!
2. On the schedule for tonight: clean out fridge, unpack Bunnystock bag, swiffer floor, try on, organize and wash tights, start to switch closet from spring/summer to fall/winter
3. Thinking on what to have for din tonight. Will probably have a baked potato. Or a sandwich.

2. I got a bluetooth headset today as a gift from plantronics, which means my roommate is getting a bluetooth headset for christmas.

3. Roommate and I discovered an awesome video game and have been playing nonstop. Hunter the recogning (the second) for $5 used at blockbuster has thus far provided us with about 15 hours of zombie killing bliss.

Are you doing NO carbs or LOW carbs, since there are low carb wines and beer (and I guess wine is not too high carb as it is).

*pours one out for sprecklet*

1) The totally great little cafe right around the corner from work that I've been going to every few days for the last month totally changed their menu and raised prices overnight. For the locals: it's Iguana Cafe in the Bergs Bazaar on Elizabetes iela in Riga, Latvia. Consider yourself warned. Iguana Alert, people. I am not going to be fooled into $4 beer (and $40 lamb chops!) half a block from where the same beer is $1.50.
2) My carbuncle is subsiding. Go, tea tree oil, go!
3) I'm building a new friendship! Me and this other person at work have gotten super close, and there's no risk of workcest since we play for different teams, wink wink nudge nudge. We cook togehter! We do language awareness homework together! We drink tea and watch Jeeves and Wooster on DVD! Yay!

3// The bank woke me before 7am with an automated call to verify that I was the person who charged $250 to my debit card within a 20-minute period last night. I'm glad they checked, but before 7? Really?

2// I had some terrible tummy cramps that involved moaning and clutching at my midsection last night that woke my boyfriend who then woke me. Still not sure what was up (sharp and pointy gas?), but stayed home from work anyway.

1. Finally, actual construction work is imminent on the house - foundations are going in this week
2. Trying to work out how to juggle finances to pay for all this - the perils of owner-building and trying to make the bank happy (banks hate owner-builders) combined with some of our choices mean that about 40% of the money is required before we even get out of the ground, which is requiring some creative money-wrangling
3. I just want to get started, but the organising thing is really hard when you work full-time in another city.

3. I think it's finally fall here - which is great because I just bought the cutest fall coat.

Ouch... hm, maybe a flavored sparkling water or seltzer? My mom drank a lot of that when she was on Atkins.

Now me, I'd go for a big old avocado as a nice treat. They're so good!

Oh, Lori, I'm so sorry! How shocking!

Well, now this seems silly:

1. Switched my wardrobe from summer to fall clothes. In doing so I've gotten yet another bag of clothes for donation.
2. Feeling frisky!
3. Not happy with how the high school is handling my son's harrassment by other football teammates. Not happy at all.

1. Some jackass just pulled a fire alarm. During midsems week. It's 40 degrees outside. GRUMBLE.
2. I don't want to do my stats homework.

1. I got a job yesterday, with confirmation paperwork in the mail today! This is a Huge Relief.

2. Got a haircut today. Everyone likes it but me, but I had to go to a new stylist because mine quit after I'd been going to her for five years. Angie, come back!

3. Really want to see my boyfriend tonight, but I already know he's gonna be busy, so I'm hopeful and already disappointed at the same time.

1) It is entirely possible that the remodeling of our bathroom (which was supposed to finish last week but was delayed by mistakes made on our end) might wrap up tomorrow, which means I'll have a nice deep tub in which to soak my aging knees this weekend.

2) I'm waiting for the police to arrive so I can report what appears to have been an attempted break-in last night at the building where I work. (Nothing like what LoriFLA reported, though. Good thoughts to your family and friends.)

3) I don't really have a number three... Oh, the new issue of Mojo came in the mail today. Huzzah!

1. Holy Crap, LoriFLA! That's crazy awful.

2. BP, "win on ebay" is an expression I make fun of my husband for using - you didn't win it, you bought it, dude!

3. A speaker fell on one of my actor's heads tonight at rehearsal. It was awful. He didn't loose consciousness or bleed, but boy oh boy he was stunned. It wasn't anybody's fault, but the weirdest thing is we can't figure out how it happened. We took a long break, iced his head, dressed any and all cords, and I guess I'll tell the set guy to put a lip on the speaker platforms, but it was really a freak accident, which scares me, because how can I prevent it from happening again if I don't know how it happened in the first place?
