Sure enough, that be a bugmenot one. So this person turns out to have been at least five. *shrug* * Unlike Metafilters current incarnation one does not need to fork out cash to get an account at ad-rag.com, only if one wants an upgrade to view the films. The account itself is free just like any other community site and allows for commenting, chatting with other users, and other prefs just like any other community. Perhaps this is what is confusing bugmenot? Either way they have not once responded to my emails where I ask them to please remove ad-rag.com from their lists.
