Mykescipark is a sound-geek, composer, and radio producer extraordinaire. His MeCha username is an amalgam of his name (Myke) and that of his former electronic pop project, Science Park (1997-2001).

Myke has made his livelihood in songwriting, freelance writing, sound-art composition, and radio broadcasting. He currently edits the blog Shortwavemusic, runs the record label Obscure-Disk, and spends his days in editing and post-production for a nationally-syndicated NPR show. He is also working on his fifth album - his first full-on "pop" record in eight years.

He is inordinately fond of oranges, being in love, shortwave radio, Burning Man, protein shakes, bicycling, his own music, living in Los Angeles, room-temperature vodka shots, the Agape spiritual center, the God-consciousness, and dancing until sunrise. He shares a home with an orange tabby named Ryko.

He divides his time between Hollywood, CA, and Black Rock City, NV, and hopes to meet you out there someday.
