Mykescipark is a sound-geek, songwriter, and radio producer extraordinaire. His MeCha username is an amalgam of his actual name (Myke) and that of his recently-revived electronic pop project, Science Park (founded in 1997).
Myke currently edits the blog Shortwavemusic, runs the record label Obscure-Disk, and spends his days as the Associate Producer for a nationally-syndicated NPR show (with an itinerant side gig as a production manager for a local underground circus).
He is fond of oranges, shortwave radio, cycling, living in Los Angeles, making homemade soup, writing melancholy pop songs, and dancing until sunrise. He shares his Hollywood home with an overfed orange tabby named Ryko.
