Man, you're really putting the rest of us to shame ah... I'm not very ...lyrically inclined to have something at the top of my head to be putting up here so I hope you'll excuse me while I make a post about a movie that I like.

Or actually, why don't I piggy back on yours and put it up here as well, with your permission of course.

Blue Valentine. I think I'd seen it when it had first come out--this was way back in 2010, right after my accident, and even now, after all these years I don't think there's a better film examining the break-up of a marriage as heart-breathtakingly done as this one. You really feel sad that the two protagonists are going through what they are, and just want to give them a good shake and put them back together again.

I know it might not be everyone's cup of tea, especially during Christmas time, but the movie's got a lot of heart and if you can give it a chance you might think it's worth your while. (and as an added bonus, just because this is arse_hat's thread: here's a song that plays in the movie as well.)
