Huh, I had no idea that Annies was a real independent company. I had always assumed that it was one of those fake homey sounding brand-names made up by a giant corporation to market to folks that don't like buying from giant corporations.

And now it really is just that.

So my cynicism wasn't misplaced, just premature.
