Friday Question(s) from The Book of Questions When did you last sing to yourself? To someone else? And what was the song?
I used to sing a lot but lately it only seems to be The Star Spangled Banner. Last time I sang it, to my Bear and myself, was at the last Mariners game we attended.
Sorry about your brother's dog, Huge Anus. They leave big holes in our hearts.
I sing to myself all the time. Just now, I was singing this because it's Friday and somehow this song sounds like a Friday song.
I sang to myself this morning in the car, when "Ever Changing Moods" came on the radio. I last sang to someone else - a crowd, in fact - at the piano bar last week, when I performed "Good Morning Starshine". I sing to Lucy (the cat) every day though. She has her own song, "Tummy Girl", which is to the tune of "Barbie Girl". It also has a dance routine ...
I sing all the time: along with the music at work; in the car; in the shower. Funny, I can sing in front of my coworkers, but I'm shy when it comes to singing in front of family. The last song I sang today was "Do My Dirty Work" by Halestorm.
I've got some sort of music going in my head all the time, too. Lately it's either been "Solamente Una Vez" or one that I made up years ago. I don't sing for other people unless it's my kids or a gig. And I haven't had a gig in decades.
"Let it go" pretty much every single damned day. My daughters insist we play it in the car, on the way home from school/work. And then once you are hearing it, it's almost impossible to keep from singing it.
I'm always singing along to the radio so I have no idea what the last song was. Probably something from 80s or 90s thanks to xmradio
I sing to the kidlet almost every night -- You are my Sunshine, If I Had Words and Once Upon A Dream. I need to find another song or two and start a rotation.
I have a six-month-old baby and sing to him all the time, though it's depressing how few lyrics I can remember. Typical songs:
Yesterday
We Are the Road Crew
St James Infirmary
Black Steel in the House of Chaos
Wonderwall
Sophisticated Lady
Fat-Bottomed Girls
Another Brick in the Wall Part 2
