Bango Night at the Elks! Neat video about the Wednesday night institution in my neighborhood. Sadly the singer highlighted in it passed away two months ago. (Warning: the video couldn't be more Pittsburgh unless it had fries and cole slaw on it.)
→[More:]We had a Mefi meetup there last year which got a good turnout. In the background of of some of the interviews, you can see the funky bowling lanes on the second floor of the Elks where I bowl during the winter (there's no AC so they close the lanes during the summer).

We could totally get this going in Madison, although I'm not sure where. But IT SHOULD BE DONE.

octothorpe, do you happen to know about the filmmaker? I tried to find some more info but could n't turn anything up right away.

No I don't know who made it. Following the links, the website that posted the video is gotandem.com and seems to be some sort of Christian Bible study thing which is not what I expected at all. I could probably find out. A few of my friends are members of that Elks chapter and would probably know.

Yeah I ended up finding that too. I actually watched a bunch of the videos. They are Bibley, but not really in a way I could find it in myself to hate on.

I may end up using this video at conferences. It's a great example of how milennials don't behave the way Boomers expect them to.
