Well, hearing the backstory made me feel a bit more charitable about the girl. Being associated with so many domain squats previously disposed me to think that she was associated with them. Still feel mad about the squats though - they are often hogging names that could be useful.

Neat. There must be all sorts of weird and wonderful (no doubt creepy and disgusting also) things that have people's face on them without them even realising due to having posed for stock photos.

What did really pique my interest, though, was how Quora picked out someone who is one of my Facebook friends and mentioned that they use Quora, even though I'm not logged into Facebook (not in an open tab, anyway). The plot thickens by a coincidence of timing - when the 'temporary block' (8:00 to 4:00) here at work of Facebook kicked in between views of the Quora page, the second view shows the block graphic in the 'sign-up' box thingy. I can't check whether I'm logged in because of the block, but it's likely I've logged in to Facebook and not logged out, but closed the browser tab.
