I'm amazed at how many are in Ontario. Even more amazing is that many of them are still standing and in use. I have this one, in Georgina, ON, as my desktop. It's still standing, but probably needs some fixing up. I'd love to be able to do it. Oddly enough it's about an hour's drive from my son- & daughter-in-law.

We stayed in an octagon house in Gulfport Mississippi for a group vacation in the-90s and had the best vacation! It was right across the highway from the ocean and we're pretty sure it was destroyed in Katrina. I did not see anything in the listing that looked like it was the same house and now I feel like I need to dig through all my records and find out what I can about it!

This one here in Georgia is actually just a house with two octagonal wings, but it sure is pretty.
