Impressed, inspired and a bit jealous - Wikipedia user S23678 takes amazing pictures, and posts some of them in very large scale. [More:]
And now I want to go back to Peru to take photos and wander the country. Until then, I'll be staring at the Andes.
Note: none of those links is directly to huge files, but to Wikimedia Commons pages that note the full-scale file sizes and other useful details.

((O_O))  No doubt about it. I gotta get out of town more often.
What machine was used? On the Hubble Telescope site, there's a warning on pictures around 40MB that most computers will not be able to process the file.

The big ones are panoramas, stitched and assembled in Hugin, an open-source program. I didn't know that until I checked the fine print just now, and I foresee a weekend of fun.
