OMG!!!11!!!1!! Mrs. Doohickie haz a bicycle! →[More:] This has been a long time coming; 37 years to be exact. She hasn't ridden a bike since she fell off a bike and broke her kneecap back then. This is a huge step for her.

That's a really nice bike. I don't know how to ride a bicycle, and my Ohio cycling-crazy friends are always asking me if I want to learn. Uh, no thanks.

We'll see. This wasn't something I pestered her into though. She knew I wanted her to to at least consider it, but that's as far as I took it. The decision to buy it was hers; she brought it up.

We have an epic ride planned for this afternoon: once around the block.
