I like the sound of the word "turpitude." →[More:]It has a dirty little rhythm to it. The sound of the spoken word is actually consistent with the word's meaning.

So what are some of your favorite words -- words that you like saying out loud, words that you don't know the meaning of, but make up meanings for anyway, etc, etc.

"Shoulder" is my favorite word to say out loud. It has a richness to it, a wonderful rolling mouth feel. I could say it all day (I sometimes do).

I get the word "reconnoiter" stuck in my head. A friend busted out the word "quotidian" the other day, and I literally squealed with glee.
