I mostly remember the episodes with celebrity guest stars like Muhammad Ali and Ed "Too Tall" Jones. Also, the one with Nancy Reagan and the one with the bike shop pedophile played by Gordon Jump.
I still think the best thing he ever did was the Simpsons xmas episode, in which he was given the Tiny Tim inspired final line "What'choo talkin' bout, Moe? What'choo talkin' bout everyone!"
Never got into the show, even though I was of the right age when it was on. I lived in one of the PC capitals of the world, and when I saw that the premise was "ooh, a rich white guy trying to raise two black boys," I was not suitably impressed.
I was too old for the show, but managed to soak up enough of it then and in the intervening years of nostalgia. Oddly, I thought he was kinda endearing the last few times I saw him. I was unexpectedly touched to hear of his death, all that said, and I wonder if it's because of my own head injury.
