steamed bunny, that's me... Got a cigarette lighter thrown at me by some young miscreants at the grocery store parking lot after they'd made very rude and lewd comments about my daughter. (Yes, I'd growled at them. Mama bear kicked right in.) →[More:] They then BACKED UP at a high rate of speed out of the lot so I couldn't get their plate number.

Boneheads.

When I was a smoker, I would have thrown anything but my lighter. You can never find one when you need one, people are always walking away with 'em, and hardly any stores ever gives out free matches any more. The only thing worse than not having a cig when you want one is having a cig with no way to light it.

I've resorted to an electric stove, on occasion, and it works.

WTF? Young male posse now harass young girls even when MOM is with them? Great, another thing to look forward to.

Back in the day when I was getting constant verbal harrasment from guys on the street, I wanted a sound-gun that could make sperm "swim out", creating the feeling of being kicked in the balls from the inside. HA! Then I could just aim and shoot, and the harassing dudes would keel over in pain every time they cat-called a girl until hey learned that this was a painful thing to do and they might keep it to themselves, and all would be right in the world.

Might start drawing on that sound-gun again. What happened bunnyfire? What did they say?

A rude comment containing a reference to female anatomy (one that can also reference a feline.) Ugh.

Oh, and I presented the lighter to the really nice cop who showed up to take my report. Perhaps a futile action (the call, that is) but it made ME feel better.

Lets hope they go all C.S.I. on their asses, finding fingerprints and DNA an traces of dirt that reveals their geographical location and TADA, get the bad guys, though we know that shit never happens.

Hang on bunnyfire, how old is your daughter? I seem to have a faint memory of a picture of you nursing a baby not that many years ago making this harrasment image ten times worse in my mind as I'm picturing a young Bunnyfire walking hand in hand with a wee six years old or something. UGH!
