Hopefully this is a rule that will only be on the books until January 21. The federal government won't be able to get anything done between now and then (especially with a full week of holidays), so it will only stand as a symbolic testament to the incredible ass-fuckery that the outgoing adminstration has perpetuated (or tried to) on common sense.

It's one thing to be stupid and ignorant, it's another thing altogether to invalidate and silence the very people who could help you out of your ignorance.
The distaste for learning that this administration has shown makes me the saddest of almost everything it's done. Well, maybe the deaths of thousands of innocents was worse.
ARGH!
