An uplifting backstory for all those who were distressed by the photo on Faildogs.com that we saw yesterday.[More:]
I did some digging around -- you'll love the happy ending!
Thank you for posting this here. It's an incredibly moving portrait and it really demonstrates the power of the internet.

Oh, WOW!

How must that woman have felt when she saw the pic and recognized him?

I hope things turn out okay for Noel.

(I'm all choked up.)

Oh, thank goodness. I couldn't even look at the photo yesterday (except that, ahem, someone posted it in the thread itself so I ended up seeing it anyway!)

Yup, I was pretty choked up about this photo as well - which is why I spent so long combing around to discover where he was and how he was doing. It's great when you discover a happy ending ... :-)

Oh, thank you for posting this, I have been thinking about him ever since this thread. I hope he goes home to his mom, and I hope things work out.

I'm with BP, I'm so choked up right now.

Thnks so much for the update, so much nicer having the whole story.

Thanks Susurration. I'm glad you did the digging I was too lazy to do. Pretty darn fascinating, and I love that dog. I hope everything turns out well for the man and his dog.

Thank you for this information! I found the photo so moving, and it's been on my mind all day. I'm glad to see he's contacted his mom. I hope it's the happy ending I'm envisoning.
