Once I picked up one of Coulter's books. I noted a huge error on this first page. She was describing a television show I knew a lot about. She said it was on TLC when it was really on HGTV (or vice-versa). I immediately thought she was a bigger moron (her editor, as well) for not getting something simple, and easily checked, right.

Have fun, bunnyfire! We're looking at cabins in Boone to rent next summer. Boone is not Barcelona, sigh. But it's what we can afford and it'll be fun for the kids. Most of them don't have cable which is nice. I would love one without TV, but I don't think they exist. It must have a hot tub. I think I've mentioned my eldest son's obsession with hot tubs.

I love this place, which is a reasonably short (although somewhat scary if things like many-hundred foot sheer drops at the edge of the road with no safety barriers scare you) drive from my place. I stayed there once for a "management retreat" and, not only does it not have TV, there are no phones and no mobile phone coverage except for one small patch about 2 metres square in a corner of a lawn. Kind of like how I imagine heaven would be.

I'll take the Denny Crane part without the Ann Coulter part, please. ^_^
