578/117 Zune Brown

542 - the dark blue one. Or one of the black ones near the bottom.

dark burgundy like a good wine. (there's a couple there that would be good)

What's the thesis on? Generally, I mean. What field of study.
posted by rainbaby 03 June | 07:33
The field is comparative genomics/molecular evolution.

It's called "Quantifying evolution and natural selection in vertebrate noncoding sequence."

I use the ColorBrewer Dark2 theme for the figures inside, which means mainly dark green/dark orange. So part of me is thinking that a lighter color might be nice for the outside?

I like the light oranges, then. If that doesn't seem frivolous.

579/5, nice and bland. Let your thesis content do the wowing.

I might just be saying that because they don't do neon colours though.

I'd go with a dark brown if you're using green and orange inside - but, I cannot see the colours very well on my screen...
Pick something that will look nice on your bookshelf and goes with the gold lettering, maybe 567?

531/10. Dark green. Then paint small silver polka dots all over it. Nothing says molecular evolution like silver polka dots. Congratulations, by the way!

Your favorite!

What, no pink? Forget it.

My thesis is bound in dark green and I like it very much btw.

Another vote for dark green.

My grandfather's thesis was bound in 580/70. My grandmother typed it up for him, back in 1935. I still have it. It's held up well.

I picked 557/15. It doesn't look quite so dark in person.

Yay for green!

I built a cigar-box synth, || three point update....
