Holy crap! Brand new, completely free Nine Inch Nails album available for download! I'd tell you what it's like, but I'm sat in the departure area of Gatwick airport waiting for a Specklet-bound flight, killing time on my iPhone. No NIN for me for a couple of weeks!

Thanks! I'm sitting here with one hour gone and two to go before my flight leaves. I've filled out my forms, being careful to say that I've never had anything to do with the Nazi party during WW2! Gatwick is heaving with people and really stuffy. Can't wait to get on the plane to get some Viking time.

The US Customs form always amuses me. It singles out snails as being prohibited. Why just snails? There's no mention of slugs. Is it okay for me to bring slugs in, but not snails? I've always been too scared to ask why this might be.

My not-quite-three-year-old niece said yesterday that I was only allowed to see baby alligators because baby alligators are pretend alligators and not real. She also said EVERYTHING MUST BE PURPLE!

Showing my age again, I only have a vague idea of what NIN sounds like. I'm sure that I've heard them but I don't remember if I liked them or not. I kind of gave up on keeping up with new music sometime in my thirties, I should probably try harder.

Don't even think about bringing so much as an apple in. I just saw one of those cute little food sniffing beagles rat a guy out for having an apple in his carryon bag and the customs agent got really pissed off.
