I hardly ever remember my dreams but ... [More:]

... I dreamed last night that I was having an affair with Harry Redknapp. I mean, I'm sure he's a lovely bloke and all, but he's got a face like a bag of spanners.

Why couldn't I have dreamed about his son? Mrowr!
I rarely remember my dreams either but the other night I dreamt that I was being held hostage by a Klingon poet.

No wonder I don't remember them.

Last night I dreamt that Neko Case told me that I had a beautiful voice. She was also a dachshund.

Jan, when you where preferring to dream about Jami Redknapp, was he *ahem* enjoying the company of Ben Cohen?

Phwoar! Ben Cohen is cute.

But sadly my dreams are populated by the likes of Harry, not Jamie, Redknapp. My subconscious is a bastard. It hates me.

Jan, just curious, because we've both been taught under the British English system at school, but do you say "dreamed", or is it "dreamt". I'd used the latter word the other day, which is what I usually use, and it's giving me a spelling error in Firefox. I thought it had something to do with the difference in the American/British English way of spelling, but since you've used the same word, maybe the fault lies with me? Any idea??

I've always used 'dreamed' but I can't honestly remember which I was taught at school. I think 'dreamt' is the English way: "Last night I dreamt I went to Manderley again ..." Du Maurier : Rebecca
