My cat likes to sit on whatever I'm typing. So, when her long tail gets in my face, I put it under my nose and make like I have a moustache. What games do bunnies play with their pets? Anyone??
Catch the cursor.
Kill the spacebar.
Who's the belly?
Stop it, that's my forearm.
NO!
Get the fake prey! (No, it's not my hand! Really!)
Please don't do that.
Oh yes, let's type as many Hs as we can. Look at 'em go!!
Ah-choo!
Ooh, let's make the bed! You get under the sheet!
Quit it, butthead.
Okay, I'll put food in your bowl.
Hee hee, no really, it's not my hand!

Don't forget: you make a better door than a window (pc, tv, book, etc.).

We play this game, which features my beautiful polished yew dining table.

Me: Get off that table.
Cat: (ignores)
Me: Bailey, I said get down.
Cat: (ignores)
Me: Bailey, GET DOWN!
Cat: (ignores)
Me: Don't make me come over there ...
Cat: (ignores)
Me: (stands up, makes me go over there)
Cat: (starts to act cute)
Me: Don't go doing that cute upside-down head thing.
Cat: (Does the cute upside-down head thing.)
Me: Awwww ...
Cat: (Looks up hopefully)
Me: Get! Down!
Cat: Gets down.
Me: (Goes back to my desk. Sits down.
Cat: Jumps back up on table

cat games in my house:

hide-and-go-puke
Cattack-tag!
tiger attack out of the blue - kind of like Sellers vs Cato but with more claws
It's snowing (toiletpaper!)
Let-me-out, let-me-in, let-me-out-again. (repeat)
Purring paperweight (on anything mom needs or reads, such as the mousepad, keyboard, entire laptop)
Catch the toes!
Red light / Green light (following me around the house, but whenever I look, he's perfectly still)
Kitty, Kitty where's your bone? (always under me!)

mudpuppie broke teh internetz.

I play lots of games with the dog. Jackhammer, in which I either smack her on the rump with a toy or my hand (gently). It drives her wild. We'll also play Figure 4 (I made up these names; we're . . . a bit weird at home - I also call her a "galoof" and a javelina) when she's on the bed. This involves me basically rough housing with her, but specifically by sliding my hand under her rump or belly and tickling her. She loves it.

The cat isn't too much into games, unless it's chase the newspaper wad, or antagonize his dog sister. We like to chase him around the house trying to catch him and yelling "DEMON" because he keeps us up at night and digs his claws into our backs. He liks it, I think. But, yeah. We're weird I guess.

Kitty does like this game too:

Whenever I made whipped cream, I used to put a blob on my cats' noses. This created the lovely juxtaposition response of "I HATE YOU! I'M FILTHY/I LOVE YOU! THIS IS DELICIOUS!".

we have the Little Dog Olympics which include the "tiny ball chase", the "relay down the hall around the circle through the dining room then kitchen through the living room up on the couch......leeeeeeeeeeeeeeap from the couch and back down the hall again" (this part must be repeated at least 4 times), and "hump the pillow" (its the 'little old lady dog' who partakes in the humpage). we also have "protect my person from the dogs on animal planet channel". after all that he ends up under the blankets for a nap.

I forgot one game. The post-it-note on cats forehead to get him off my desk thing. He'll walk backwards until it falls off (but amazingly he never falls off the desk!).

I gotta try that whip cream game that plinth plays.

With 2 dogs and 2 cats, I'm merely the referee in our house. Their games with me include:

Who chewed up this napkin/newspaper?
Who pissed on the floor?
Who dumped over the garbage?

* Make a Lap... NOW, Lady.

* Buy All Manner of Cat Toys That I Will Ignore, usually followed by

* Attack the Evil Backpack Strap

Oh, and

* Stare Fixedly at Random Objects Until Lady Freaks Out

(Though yesterday it turned out there was indeed a bumblebee in the fireplace, and the cat wasn't just telepathically communicating with the ghosts of fires past.)

*puts cream on her shopping list*

(I've got to get The Mogget back for the "Tickle My Belly" attack. I'm such a sucker for fluffy cat bellies...)

Thanks for sharing, guys. I feel quite cheered up.
