Cilantro is one of the few herbs that I will just eat raw.

I really like cilantro and never knew people didn't like it until reading Mecha....
Like middleclasstool, I'll eat it plain. Course, as a kid, I'd beg for everyone's "decorative" parley so it could eat it too. Yep, I was warped, and pampered/humored.

Some people instead perceive an unpleasant "soapy" taste and/or a rank smell. This is believed to be a result of an enzyme that changes the way they taste coriander leaves, a genetic trait, but has yet to be fully researched.

Which might explain why it's quite unpopular here.

I love it but the Boy hates it. I'd love to grow it myself actually because it's so tricky to source - anyone wanna send me some seeds?
