Seattle meetup update, in which elizard can't make the meetup she herself called. →[More:]Hey, Seattle bunnies. Something's come up and I'm not going to be able to be in Seattle tonight after all :( Heard from Specklet today, and it looks like Pie's flu will be keeping them away, too. Damn. My profound apologies.

Mostly good stuff, though there's also been a bit of a hitch that I have to sort out before I head further south. In the meantime, BitterOldPunk's been showing me around Birmingham--he is a wonderful host. Here are some photos from Kelly Ingram Park, a major site in the fight for civil rights.

I wont make it, bunnies. Pi did indeed generously offer to let me take his car, but I decided to stay home and save some cash.
