Here's why you don't pass out with a house full of people. My sister threw a going-away party for our friend Matt who has been re-deployed to the Middle East for 15 months. Unfortunately, her GIGANTIC beverage put her to sleep quite early. She awoke this morning to find that her house had been completely redecorated.
Gigantic beverage, indeed. If that wasn't a vodka bucket with a straw, it might as well have been. At least things ended on a happy note, as that Australian kid didn't show up with his 500 "acquaintances".

bwahaha... that's awesome. Personally, I would have done something like wrap all her furniture in plastic and hide her silverware in different parts of the house.

In our neighborhood if you leave a party too early or don't show up at all, when you wake up the next day there's a for sale sign in front of your house. We've also been known to visit the homes of those who've left early or didn't show to sneak into their garages, pick up their cars, and carry them to a different location. It's amazing how much a handful of really drunk people can lift.

HA. I don't think it was for the same reason, iconomy, but I knew a guy who once got his car turned 90 degrees in his garage. I think he moved some shelving and inchwormed his way out.

This was a popular past-time in college - we once moved a new roommate's room into the communal bathroom. Filled a guy's room with confetti-and-shaving-cream-filled balloons cause he couldn't get us tickets to Rocky Horror Show.

That redecorating is far more civil than any regular parties at my house have been (which is why I don't throw parties anymore, mind you).
