There's a Twilight Zone marathon on Sci-fi channel. Just so ya know. That show was a huge influence on me.
Good. I had publicly complained that they didn't do it on Thanksgiving anymore, so maybe they listened to me. Why not?

Twilight Zone Marathon on NYE/NYD is a family tradition for me.

I'm trying not to start off the year with nightmares.

Heh. The episode after next is the best one of them all.

Oh, man. I want TV again...

Which one is the best one, jonmc?

Missing the Twilight Zone marathon sort of makes me wish we had a television. Sort of.

"Eye Of The Beholder"

I watched Eye of the Beholder with the girl and we had a nice chat about beauty standards.

I love the Twilight Zone

Heh. I mentioned that in a thread on MeFi, too. Rarely has thought-provocation and great entertainment been combined as well as on TZ.

Serling was a great moralist. I was actually pleasantly surprised how gripped my daughter was, waiting to see how "ugly" the woman would turn out to be. I thought she was too young to get it, but she did. I'm totally excited to share my Serling love with her. It will make for great "teaching moments."

Nah, it was the Burgess Meredith one with the eyeglasses. That was my favorite.

Or, "Willoughby! Next stop, Willoughby!"

I loved that show.

I keep whining to the mister that we need digital cable and he keeps saying he's going to look into it, but it still hasn't happened.

What? Isn't this the whining thread?

All five seasons

I watched 4 or 5 hours of it. Great stuff ... they don't make shows like that anymore.

I also noticed how many Treehouse of Terror episodes were ripped straight from The Twilight Zone.

That disembodied winking eye completely wigged my shit when I was four.
