I saw The Youth about five years ago, the loudest concert that I've ever heard. It was in the park outside and when a medical helicopter flew overhead and you couldn't hear it at all.

Oh! *jealous* I started listening to SY about the time they released "Evol", and in '88 'Teenage Riot' was our pre-drinking warmup song, along with the very latest Sub-Pop mailing-list tunes. Hope they rocked the hell outta ya.

Man, they did rock. I love how they remain sort of ageless.

Jose Gonzalez was also on, and he was fucking excellent. It's a great programme.
