I've been organizing this for 5 years now (and 5 months non-stop it feels like) and if you live in Chicago and don't come, you'll break my little geeky heart. There's stuff for cool girls and cool boys, too. I promise. You're more likely to find a knitted penis than a knitted bunny though.

Thanks, y'all. The space is beautiful with an amazing past of being created as a community kitchen, day care, bathing, health, education, etc. center for the largely socialist and eastern European residents who worked long hours and lived in the tiny cottages that surround the park. And now it hosts anti-establishment shows like ours, and several others. It's almost like the space sought us out so it could keep attached to its original mission.

And our Craftifesto will be part of the introduction to a book about crafting called Handmade Nation due out next fall. We're very, very excited about it.
