Garlic Green Beans with Manchego last night,
→[More:]accompanied by medium-rare grass-fed NY steaks, yukon gold potatoes roasted with rosemary and garlic, and an heirloom tomato salad that ikkyu constructed, and the whole meal was to-die-for and I wish you all had been there.
But the green beans were my favorite part, and the preparation is great for the end-of-the-season beans we're getting now. I would never have thought of adding lime to green beans but it was fabulous. I made the entire recipe for the two of us, and finished off the leftovers for breakfast this morning. Yay, garlic breath!
