I was listening to the radio yesterday and there was an interview with Tom Robinson, who may or may not be known to USians, but he was a very high profile gay rights activist/musician in the late 70s and has kept a steady fan base since then.

He was talking about this new singer called Lee Griffiths, who he said was great. This track was played (YouTube), and yes, he's good .

Oh, and Tom Robinson's entire back catalogue is available free on his website. Including the sublime War Baby, one of the best songs about lust and obsession ever written.

Cool... I'd never heard of him. "War Baby" is cool. I listened to it before checking out the Lee Griffiths song, and on first listen it sounds like Griffiths is influenced by Robinson's singing style.

I'd love to but I still have to work out how! Maybe you can teach me when you come downWeather's nice at the moment, I'm sunbathing intermittently. The sun is really strong but when it goes in I have goosebumps on my goosebumps!
Friends are a little delayed so I have this nice quiet time to laze & read.

Tom Robinson rocks. "Up Against The Wall" "2-4-6-8 Motorway" are excellent rock and roll songs.

I haven't listend to Tom for years. Thanks for the reminder. The Faith, Folk & Anarchy album is cool too.
