I just discovered that babbies animation yesterday--it is mesmerizing. Unfortunately, it seems like the second question isn't legit judging by the user's other questions.
I see what you mean. He goes from babbys not frigthing back to "What would happen if OPEC switched its international transactions from a dollar standard to a euro standard?" Doesn't seem too consistent.
I have got to change my settings. They tell me Chrismear posted this at 5.30am. Hmm! See I don't know if that's true (in which case you are sad, get a life!) or is it just my settings.
Imponderables.
But besides that I also found what he found disturbing. I must be missing something, besides the obvious answer which Matteo nailed in the blue, "microdonation". Love it.
Wilder, these settings are for US, Eastern Standard time... basically - NY time, I think.
So, if I post something that shows up around 5:30 a.m., it's really around 9-10 pm here, and probably 7-9 pm in London. We don't have the option of times showing up in our own time zone, but I've never really seen the sense of that. As a non-US person; it would just show everyone's posts and comments as mostly being posted in the late-night or pre-dawn hours for me. I'd rather see when when most people really did post (or close to that time) in relation to their day... and since most people posting are from the US, we use the U.S. time date.
thanks Taz, kind of worked it out from my post, which says 8.02. Although I was very virtuosly up at that time I must admit I wasn't on Mecha. I thought it was something like Meta where you could change it. No worries;-glad it's just not me being thick with techno as usual.
No, that's the wrong user (you have to click on "Questions", not "Answers" to get the correct tab). Anybody can answer a question, smart or dumb, and people do.
kavya may be a put-on but his questions are consistent:
I linked to the correct user. There doesn't seem to be a way to link directly to the Questions tab though. But the user 'claytr0n' asked the OPEC question miss lynnster quoted and also:
"Selling a piano? The piano is a Ernest Gabler & Bros baby upright grand, 56", from about 1880. How should I go about selling it? Craigslist, Ebay, newspaper classifieds, piano store?"
I said "how is babby formed?" to my friend earlier today and had to explain why I kept dissolving into peals of laughter. It loses something in the translation.
