Can anyone help me with a US tax/W-4/federal withholdings calculation question? [More:]I got a really big refund last year, but I also only earned wages for part of the year, so I'm trying to figure out how many allowances to claim on my W-4. I'm using the IRS Withholding Calculator

On page 3 it asks for the "total Federal income tax withheld to date in 2007" and the "Federal income tax withheld from your last salary payment". My paystub has 3 tax deductions - WH Tax, SS Tax, and Medicare. Do I just use the WH Tax number or do I include Social Security and Medicare taxes in the "total federal income tax witheld"?
I'll pass this on to the accountant I married and get back to ya.

Per my babydaddy: it is just the federal withholding not all three.

And did I read at some point that you were getting married? If so, congrats!

Will do. Feel free to hit him with questions about filing jointly when the time comes. (And please post frequently about your wedding plans. I loooove weddings.)
