Daily dose of crossness →[More:]I know articles like this are ten-a-penny, but it was this line that made me roll me eyes and want to throw things:

"You will not teach or show that propagandist Al Gore video to my child, blaming our nation — the greatest nation ever to exist on this planet — for global warming," he wrote in an e-mail to the Federal Way School Board.

I hate it when people get mad at science for not validating their half-baked readings of religion.

(also, I really love the word 'cross' when it used to mean 'angry.' It's makes being pissed off sound so dignified.)

I live in beautiful Federal Way, WA. I had to move north after 35 years in Tacoma because we had too many serial killers. Maybe it's time to move again.

Damnit, we're too late.

And what the hell is with the balancing with alternate views BS.
It's not evolution, it's Intelligent Design!
It's not global warming, Jesus is coming back!

Members of the school board say they have been bombarded by e-mails and phone calls accusing them of ignorance, pandering to religion and imposing prior restraint on free speech.

This gives me hope.
