Quite a few of us frequent the #bunnies IRC channel on slashnet. I doubt anyone is there now, but people tend to use that as a place to chat (usually in the evenings in US timezones, but I think the UK/Euro mechazens poke in and out during their evenings). You'll probably notice posts inviting people to come to IRC for chats.

Citrus--you just click on the IRC link:)

CitrusFreak: Go to File->Connect. Put your handle and info into the main "Connect" tab, then under the sub tab called "Servers" choose Slashnet (irc.slashnet.org). Click ok. This should get you on slashnet--type /join #bunnies to get in our channel.

Thanks! I'm pretty sure I got it to work. I followed hadjiboy's wonderful advice. D'oh! The simpler it is, the more likely I am to miss it. I'm all set for whenever theres a chat goin on.
