Trying to remember the name of a cartoonist. The cartoonist is female, often featured in The New Yorker. From what I can remember the cartoon is usually done in a 3, 6, or 9 block format on one page and is in color. One of the recurring characters is a female with big, frizzy hair. Humorous observations on everyday life is the main theme of the cartoon. Often times the main character is embarrassed.

I haven't read the New Yorker in years, so I can't search there, at least not now. I remembered this cartoonist because one of her cartoons was in another magazine I had, which is since gone. I am eager to know the cartoonist's name because she came out with a new book and I want to buy it.
Thanks all.
