Pondering Alcohol-Free January I did this last year and it was good. . .I was not planning on it but →[More:]saw that 'Pode and one or two other bunnies are planning it.

I'm trying to just stick to weekends, they start on Friday though right? Of course, my friend who is having folks over for dinner tonight asks me to bring the beer...

As said before, I'm most certainly in. Although I will still be cooking with wine. I'm planning on drinking at our superbowl party on Feb 4th though!

I'm on the weekend/special events plan this month. I know I can't hold out till the Super Bowl, so I'm not going set myself up to fail, but I had planed a more temperate January.

I'm not totally committed, but I'm already on the weekend/special events plan anyway. It's definitely going to be an alcohol light January - and February, March & April as well, because I am totally determined to lose some serious weight by my birthday in May.

Another weekend/special event drinker here, which is par for the course. I drink more during the holidays, but that's because they're holidays and we're allowed to indulge ourselves a little, right?

I always cut back a bit early in the year, but summer is full of so many beer-friendly events, that that's when I pick up a little more speed, usually.

Like MGL, mine is motivated mostly by the hope of weight loss.

I am convinced that the fact that I can't drink is going to secure the Eagles a spot in the Super Bowl. Perhaps even a victory. Just to spite me.

Today, I am pondering alcohol free LIFE! Gah! But after tomorrow I am sure I will go back to my regular patterns: a beer or a glass of wine here and there and then boom! the Binge (like last night). Press Rewind and then Start.

Shoot, I should of posted this yesterday. It was sitting there in my mailbox.

I am keeping to my same ways. I get tipsy a couple times a month while out with my husband or friends.
