A backlash on Live8, apparently. There's a couple of ex-Pulp members on stage, apparently. One of them is Richard Hawley, whose Coles Corner album was pretty fantastic. Check out the samples on his site - if you pick only one track, make it Coles Corner - you can watch the video to get the whole, swoonsome song.
Also, thanks BP - I've been meaning to pick the Jarvis album up and forgetting.
I love that track so much - the album got loads of praise over here as well - but that track is so amazing. Beautiful rich, deep voice, loads of strings, stunning song.
